Description:
Fiber laser system with femtosecond output from Calmar Laser. The fiber laser system was designed for applications in medical therapeutic surgery, nanoscience, materials precision machining, biomedical instrumentation, terahertz radiation, nonlinear optical studies and tissue cutting. The fiber laser based chirped pulse amplification system (FLCPA) starts with a passively mode-locked seed fiber laser. The short pulse is time stretched by frequency (chirped) for lower intensity amplification through a high power fiber amplifier stage. The pulse repetition rate and pulse energy are user selectable up to 30ps and 120kHz respectively. Fiber laser output is 1030nm with output energy up to 30µJ.
